This 36-month fulltime traineeship will give you the opportunity to get your hands dirty and work outdoors. You will develop skills and knowledge in a variety of areas with hands-on experience, and paid study towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate III in Arboriculture . Duties Include: Trim and chip/mulch trees Tree removal Pest and weed control Undertake appropriate climbing techniques Use of relevant machinery including chainsaws and woodchippers About You: Enjoy working in the outdoors and working with garden tools Are committed, reliable and hardworking Manage and prioritise time and tasks effectively Work effectively in a team with good communication skills Have a can-do attitude, and display initiative Able to follow directions and work under limited supervision Role Requirements: Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test Previous experience in gardening or similar trades (advantageous) How to Apply: Click Apply and complete the online application form and attach a copy of your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the available role.
