We are seeking a 1st year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice Locally based company Community Solutions is seeking a 1st year Apprentice for our host client, a family owned business of over 40 years located in Townsville. Our host client clearly demonstrates their duty of care to their team. This is a great full-time opportunity for an apprentice who demonstrates the dedication to learn this trade in-depth and to be part of projects where you will gain certain skills to be confident in completing your traineeship. THIS TRAINEESHIP WILL INVOLVE: Diagnosing and repairing vehicle dynamic control systems Service air conditioning and HVAC systems Carry out soft soldering techniques Repair electrical systems Carry out oxy acetylene welding, thermal cutting, and thermal heating procedures Service and maintain battery electric vehicles Test, charge and replace batteries Communicate effectively in an automotive workplace Inspect, service and repair auxiliary braking systems REQUIREMENTS: Must have manual drivers’ licence Understand the importance of workplace health and safety Good work ethic Enjoy practical work Have good hand-eye coordination Ability to pass Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol test Who We Are?
