AGA is looking for a motivated and determined candidate to start a Fitter and Turner Apprenticeship An ideal apprentice will learn to master the art of crafting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components. About AGA: AGA has more than 40 years’ experience in training people and placing them into employment, with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. AGA partners with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria. About the role: Under the guidance of professionals will learn to operate machinery, reading blueprints, performing precision measurements, and ensuring the seamless operation of industrial equipment. Your path to expertise begins here The role is a full-time apprenticeship from Monday - Friday, 38 hours a week, located in Sale, VIC. Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful apprentice as well as providing on the job training for 4 years. We have additional benefits that may be of interest to you such as: Earn and learn in your own pace On the job training provided Gain a Nationally recognised qualification: Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Mentoring and Support from our dedicated team Earn a weekly wage plus super About you: Must be an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident Commit to Full Time 4 year apprenticeship Pre-App Cert II preferred Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training (Paid for by AGA) Pre-app preferred Must have a drivers licence and car What you will do: Able to operate general manual machine operation including milling, grinding and turning. Handle of dismantling and assembly of various pieces of equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance of existing equipment. Able to problem solve and work with hydraulics. Comply to OH&S policies and procedures.
