The opportunity: Join Kinetic as an Operations Controller Trainee and be part of an exciting opportunity for two dynamic individuals As an Operations Controller Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day performance of our transportation operations. Working closely with frontline driving staff, you will coordinate bus and employee movements, ensuring seamless service delivery in both normal and emergency situations. This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic team environment, engaging with various stakeholders to contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations. You’ll be involved in: Coordinating bus and employee operational movements in line with scheduled services, routes, and maintenance requirements. Implementing plans for crew changeovers, responding to ad-hoc requests for bus changeovers, and addressing unexpected needs. Familiarizing yourself with scenarios that may impact driver allocations and providing effective cover during emergencies or incidents. Providing information to managers and team leaders to minimize customer impact during service disruptions or emergencies. Reporting immediately on accidents, incidents, and recovery plans for driving activity. Offering timely support to frontline employees during emergencies and incidents. Recording and reporting all operational occurrences or exceptions for analysis and improvement purposes. Following company and safety procedures diligently. The boxes you'll tick: C class driver's license. MR license preferred or willingness to obtain (provided as part of the Traineeship). Valid State Driving Authority preferred or willingness to obtain. Working with Children's Check. Current Nationally recognized First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
