MEGT have an opportunity for those looking to commence or continue their Apprenticeship in Maintenance Plumbing. We are on the look out for motivated, committed and reliable talent - People who are wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a certificate III in Plumbing. If you're starting out, or have already completed your 1st Year on the tools, this could be the perfect opportunity you've been looking for Our client provides a full range of expert plumbing services to homes and businesses in Richmond and the surrounding suburbs. As an apprentice, you will learn all aspects of general and maintenance plumbing from a team of fully qualified, licensed and experienced plumbers including blocked drains, kitchen sinks and toilets, through to pipe repairs, drain cleaning and hot water system repairs and installation. What will you be doing? Reading drawings Measuring and marking out Cutting and fixing air conditioning ducts Drilling and fixing brackets Moving materials and housekeeping Testing and commissioning What are we looking for? Drivers licence and car White card Pre apprenticeship (Cert II in Plumbing) is advantageous, but not essential 1st Year trade school completion, but not essential Some experience in using hand tools Commitment and determination to complete a 4 year apprenticeship What's in it for you?
