Our apprentices will be hosted to Horsham Rural City Council and will gain valuable industry experience whilst undertaking a 'Certificate III in Civil Construction'. Duties Underground drainage construction Concrete Works - Footpaths, drainage pits, curb channel Road Pavement Construction, Urban and Rural Culvert and open drain construction Road sealing and patching works Traffic controller duties Full range of road maintenance duties Handling/operating hand tools and mobile equipment Requirements Current Drivers Licence Current Construction Induction White Card Willingness to commit to work, study & training requirements Enjoy working outdoors and undertaking hands-on tasks Exposure to civil works desirable Willing to undertake mandatory pre-screening test including medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, driver history checks and reference checks.
