About the role There's an exciting opportunity at Konecranes and Demag for an aspiring Electrical Fitter Apprentice to join their team in Canning Vale, WA . As an apprentice, you will be provided with the necessary training and mentorship to kickstart your career as an electrically qualified crane technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and repair work on overhead cranes, while also attending regular TAFE sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills. Additionally, you will have the chance to face challenging breakdown situations, where your troubleshooting and technical abilities will be put to the test. To thrive in this position , it’s essential to be a team player with keen attention to detail. Safety consciousness, a methodical approach, and the ability to confidently communicate with customers about their business and your findings are also important. Comfort working at heights is also a requirement for this role. Pre-apprentice training will be looked upon favourably whilst considering the successful candidate. A manual driver’s license is also required to be eligible for this role. In return for your dedication, they offer a competitive hourly rate that allows you to earn while you learn.
