Bechtel's internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern. What You'll Be Doing: Our internships run as a 10-week program over the university summer holidays commencing in November 2023. This presents an exciting opportunity to become a part of our Project Controls team, where you will gain valuable exposure to various disciplines such as Estimating, Cost Engineering, and Planning. Throughout this internship, you will gain knowledge of real-world engineering or construction commonality assisting data analysis of project and/or proposal activities. You will be developing an understanding of technical processes through specialised guidance and support from dedicated Bechtel teams. About you: To be considered, you must be: your second or third year of your degree at an accredited university in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management an Australian citizen or have the right to permanently work and remain in Australia without sponsorship. able to pass any pre-employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check.
