Commencing in mid-January 2024, we are seeking a forward-thinking, proactive team player with excellent communication skills to join our growing engineering team as a full-time, paid intern. You will be a motivated, creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail, looking to apply your development skills across our market leading SaaS Product. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers and QA to design, develop and deploy new platform features and functionality for our SaaS product Contribute to the design and build evolution of the platform, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and easy to use Be involved and take ownership of end-to-end delivery - from solution design, estimation, development, testing and deployment Uphold quality standards including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability and usability by applying best practice software development processes, methodologies and tools Support Code Review process / tools, troubleshooting, performance tuning Contribute to engineering discussions across our platform Required Technical and Professional Expertise It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in studies at an Australian University during the entire internship, along with: The ability to follow Standard Procedures Demonstrated Communication skills (Verbal and written) Technical Skills – need to have a technical aptitude driven from their educational experiences or work-related experiences within IT Have no more than two years full-time work experience (within IT) Able to work at least four days a week (Monday to Friday), based at our St Leonards office Are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
