The business specialises in garden maintenance however they undertake a wide range of landscape and horticultural related work including large industrial and commercial properties, residential landscaping. About the role: Fitzscapes are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join their team on a Full-time basis and undertake a traineeship in Horticulture. Roles and responsibilities will include: (not limited to): Planting & irrigation. Preparing and maintaining gardens. Using various types of equipment such as mowers, snippets, edgers and hedgers. Promoting safe work practices in a team environment. Assist with the development and implementation of landscape maintenance programs and strategies. About you: The successful applicant will be a person will preferably possess the following skills and attributes: Previous experience (Highly regarded, but not essential) C-Class Driver’s License (Highly regarded, but not essential) Ability to provide a police clearance. Physically fit and self-motivated Strong work ethic and positive attitude Demonstrates reliability and punctuality. Adaptability to a changing environment as per the demands of the business Basic oral and written literacy and numeracy skills. Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
