Join our team to help us 'Think Big, Go Far' this summer MongoDB Labs is the company's research center in the Research & Incubation division. Labs is tasked with driving research to identify and explore technologies that have the potential to advance the industry with focus on growing MongoDB's business substantially. Our Machine Learning (ML) Lab works at the intersection of machine learning and databases, which is an extremely active area of research with the potential to revolutionize MongoDB's business. We are seeking curious minds like yours to collaborate with our full-time research engineers and cross functional teammates, learn how research and product teams collaborate and how state-of-the-art research is conducted in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate should have the ability to translate research questions into code prototypes, conduct experiments to evaluate hypotheses, and communicate their results clearly and effectively. What we are looking for in you (qualifications) In the process of receiving a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics (Linear Algebra or Probability Theory) or a related field (exceptional final year Bachelor students are also welcome to apply) Have some experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing Familiar with the Python programming language Any experience with Neural Network libraries like PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX are a big plus but not required Have a minimum of one term/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes, with a graduation date in 2024 or 2025.
