LEARNING OUTCOMES: You could be provided work experience in the following areas: Improve computer systems and applications, which requires analysis and testing of all systems currently in use by the business Design and write new computer programs and applications Test and debug all current and new applications on a regular basis Find data and computer system risks and implement new programming to address and eliminate these risks Create data conversion scripts in order to digitally store data. Some highly sensitive information may need to be encrypted before it is entered into the system. Research data and write reports about computer systems, processes, and application Communicate with technical teams. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Requirements gathering and documentation User stories and acceptance criteria writing Business process modelling (BPMN, As-Is/To-Be) Data analysis and validation SQL querying and database analysis API and system integration understanding (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge Agile and Scrum methodology User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test case preparation Gap analysis and impact assessment System flow and data flow diagramming Change management and version control Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Data visualisation and KPI analysis Basic automation and scripting awareness (Power Automate, Python) SOFTWARE SKILLS RECOMMENDED: Jira – Agile project and issue tracking Confluence – Documentation and collaboration Azure DevOps / TFS – Backlog, testing, and delivery tracking Lucidchart / Draw.io / Visio – Process flow and UML diagrams Miro / Figma / Balsamiq – Wireframing and user journey mapping SQL tools – MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server Power BI / Tableau – Data visualisation and reporting Excel / Power Query / Power Pivot – Data analysis and dashboards Postman / Swagger – API testing and validation SharePoint / OneDrive / Google Drive – Document management MS Teams / Slack / Zoom – Communication and collaboration GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket – Version control awareness LOCATION: The host company is located at Glycine Street Denham Court, NSW.
