About the Role: As a Trainee Forest Officer, you’ll be supported to develop practical skills in: Forest roading, harvesting, and sales Sustainable forest management and planning Fire preparedness, prevention, and suppression Stakeholder engagement and contractor compliance Data collection, audits, and certification processes This traineeship is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, and passionate about Tasmania’s natural environment. Additional info: This is a full-time traineeship (approx. 38 hours/week). You may be required to work outside of regular hours for fire duties.
