The traineeship is based at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre and the trainee will work alongside our Administration Team gaining valuable hands-on industry experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Business). You will gain practical knowledge and skills in business and financial administration as well as developing skills in customer service. What does the ideal candidate bring to City of Mandurah? Successful completion of Year 12 or a Certificate II in Business Genuine interest in learning and working in an office environment Be a confident communicator Excellent presentation Strong organisational skills Self-motivated and keen to learn High level of attention to detail Ability to problem solve Ability to follow instructions and take direction from Supervisor A strong team player Reliable and hardworking Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Package software Current driver’s licence Police clearance (within 6 months of date of issue) or willing to obtain one The finer details This fulltime position attracts a salary range of $37,393 - $59,095 gross per annum dependent on age. The traineeship is 12 months in duration and is located at the Council’s Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre on Pinjarra Road. Successful applicants will need to complete a full medical including a drug and alcohol test. Please note that the Aquatic Centre is a seven day operation and the trainee will be required to work weekends, morning and evening shifts.
