As a Bricklaying Apprentice (CPC33020) for 48 months, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and learn key skills, including: Interpreting plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures. Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and applying layers of mortar to form a stable base for blocks. Laying bricks in rows, designs, and patterns while ensuring mortar is applied consistently between joints. Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar to ensure a clean and professional finish. Using hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and polish bricks and stones to precise specifications. Maintaining and repairing bricks, cement blocks, and related structures to ensure their stability and longevity.
