As a Bricklaying Apprentice (CPC33020) for 48 months, you will learn to: Study plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures. Seal foundations with damp-resistant materials and spread layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks. Lay bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, spreading mortar between the joints. Embed blocks in mortar and remove excess mortar to ensure a clean, professional finish. Cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks using machines and hand tools.
