Obtain a Certificate III Horticulture AHC30722 leading to an excellent future career pathway. The Vale is located in Claude Road (near Sheffield) in NorthWest Tasmania. They are at the foot of the magnificent Mount Roland, creating a stunning and always-changing backdrop. The pristine Dasher River runs through the length of the property, as does a private airfield. The Vale is home to sheep, cows, birds, wildlife, aircraft and interesting people. What would a Horticulture traineeship at The Vale involve? You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & hosted to The Vale. Full time hours - 38 hours per week. Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year. Theory training conducted by TasTAFE with face to face classes on a monthly basis. You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship. You would be working under direct supervision, gaining experience and a broad range of skills to contribute to maintaining this large rural property.
