Indigenous Workshop Technician Traineeship — Wentworthville, Parramatta Area

An amazing opportunity for two Indigenous trainee workshop technicians to join a well known global technology corporation. Paying $46,000 - $50,000 plus super. Hands on traineeship, training provided both within the workshop and in the field. Learning and Development programs including External Study Assistance. Located in Permuwuy NSW (N ear Wetherill park) Free On-site car park An amazing opportunity exists for two Indigenous candidates, to learn and grow within well known brand and manufacturer of computers and electronic devices. You will be fully trained and supported by the Workshop Supervisor and Customer Service Technicians both within the workshop and in the field. In this role you will be trained in specific setup of multi-functional devices and printers to exact customer specifications. You will learn all requirements in terms of installation, including initial setup, running and repairs and troubleshooting. You will refurbish machines, test operation and ensure all speciation's have been considered for a timely efficient installation with our customers. Responsibilities will include - Follow the Trainee training plan provided both within the workshop and in the field. Learn from the Customer Service Technician to complete field repairs, learning the process including calling the customer, diagnosing and understanding the issue, organising convenient time to attend he site, and diagnose the problem. Following a training schedule to train you in all aspects of the role including setup, repairs, maintenance, testing, delivery, refurbishment, troubleshooting faults and finding solutions, installing customer networks, printing test prints, organising the workshop and warehouse, attending to client sites for installations and delivery. Following all protocols of service to ensure customer satisfaction and the devices performance. The type of person we are seeking - You must identify as an indigenous Australian of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island decent for this opportunity. Be willing to learn and grow within the company, start at an entry level, and embrace the learning journey that is fully supported. Possess an enthusiastic and responsible attitude. Be dependable and conscientious. Be interested in a career with a leading technology provider. Have a current driver’s licence is desirable but not essential.
