About the role: We are currently seeking multiple individuals who are highly passionate about working in a space with students and providing high quality care and support to both students and teachers. The ideal candidate will be capable of working in a classroom setting with vulnerable primary aged students as this school is a specialist school. The role is Monday - Friday 30 hours a week with a start time of 8:45am and a finish time of 3:30pm . Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful trainee as well as providing on the job training for 12 Months. Communicate with students in the delivery of educational programs and assisting communications between students and teachers (for example, PECS program). Support teachers with the implementation of student programs and daily routines. Support teachers by providing a consistent approach to learning and behaviour management. Observe students and share observations with teachers. Under the direction of the teacher, assist with communications between school, parents/carers and the wider school community.
