Carpentry Apprenticeship Apprenticeships Queensland is currently seeking a junior Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our valued host employers' team. In this role you will gain, knowledge and experience from industry professionals. Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply. DESCRIPTION: Carry out tasks related to the building, construction, and joinery trades, under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson/instructor and consistent with apprenticeship year level. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Use carpentry tools & equipment. Carry out general demolition of minor building structures. Read and interpret, plans, specifications, and drawings for carpentry work. Apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour for extended periods Genuine interest in the trade Be a safe confident worker Willingness to travel White Card (or be willing to obtain prior to starting) Must have car & licence Minimum of year 10 schooling What's in it for you?
