Duties Include: Obtain and maintain a current knowledge of all relevant Acts and Regulations Assist with the investigation of breaches of the law or local laws and gather evidence. Confidently handle a wide variety of animals and be able to deal with animal euthanasia. Assist with the management of files associated in position. Assist with the review of Council's relevant legislation regarding animal management. Requirements: Attention to detail and a sound working knowledge to enable the interpretation and enforcement required. Ability to work within a small team as well as broader multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to complete the technical accountabilities and gain experience whilst demonstrating genuine concern for animals and their welfare. Show respect and safety to handling and use of firearms regarding injured animals and wildlife. Ability to operate Microsoft Office along with maintaining administrative electronic record management and customer request systems. What's Next?
