Gain a nationally recognised qualification Work in an Exciting and Fast paced Industry Kickstart your career with us What you'll be doing… You will complete a Certificate III Business Administration over 12 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with HVTC. Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to: Provide support across various finance department functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, accounting, and student administration. Manage debtors by handling debt collection, analysing reports, and generating statements. Coordinate creditor invoicing, payments, and allocations to general ledger accounts. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees in our payroll system, and handle payroll processing along with weekly/monthly reporting. Assist with various accounting tasks such as journal entries, maintaining general ledger tables, and forecasting cash flow. Aid in processing student claims and reimbursements. Fulfill other duties within the scope of trainee skills, competence, and ability as required by HVTC. What you'll bring to the table… To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria: Display a proven interest in Accounting and Finance. Possess proficient computer skills, including prior experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Exhibit the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Show dedication to both on the job and off the job training. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
