Part Time or Full Time Traineeship Pemberton About us: ATC Work Smart in partnership with host employers across all industries and disciplines engage, inspire and develop the next generation of skilled tradesmen and women. A traineeship is an excellent way to achieve a nationally recognised qualification whilst working in a real job. Traineeships are available to anyone of working age. Becoming a trainee could be the best thing you ever do. You'll earn a wage and work towards a qualification that could take you places. The successful candidate will undergo a combination of on-the-job training and off the job training to achieve their qualification. A dedicated ATC Work Smart Field Officer will assist you every step of the way, you’ll be able to contact your mentor whenever you need them, plus they regularly visit you in the workplace During your traineeship you will: Earn a wage while you train Learn on the job skills combined with off the job training Receive a nationally recognised qualification on successful completion Start a valuable step towards a rewarding career path The role: Part-time or full-time position, working 15 – 30 hours per week commencing April 2024 in Pemberton. The pathway for this traineeship will be selected based on your skills and experience. About you: The successful applicants will have: Essential selection criteria: Written and oral communication skills Competent typing and keyboard skills Developed numeracy skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to provide computer and smartphone assistance to beginners Involvement in community projects Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative Able to work in a team environment Desirable selection criteria: Achieved passes in English and Math at Year 11 or above Customer service and cash handling experience Hold a current or have the ability to gain a Working with Children Check Hold or have the ability to gain a police clearance Enthusiasm How to apply: Please submit the following: A maximum of 2 pages addressing the selection criteria 1 page cover letter briefly describing why you are interested in this role A current resume outlining your education, skills, knowledge and experience with at least 2 current referees.
