Through the Traineeship you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in Civil Construction. Throughout your formal training and practical experience, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil projects including residential and commercial subdivisions and major civil infrastructure, including roads and bridges. Projects will be based across the Greater Brisbane region depending on your location. The successful applicant To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge: Commitment to both on and off the job training A good work ethic and strong desire for a career in civil construction Ability to work in a team environment Strong understanding of safety and manual handling techniques Strong attention to detail Passion for working outdoors and physically fit to perform manual tasks Mandatory Requirements Current drivers licence and reliable transport WHS Construction Industry Induction (White Card (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work Monday - Friday 6:30 - 5:00 and Saturdays as required Eligibility Successful candidates will: A good work ethic and strong desire for a career in civil construction Available to work across the industry standard hours of 6.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and ½ day Saturdays where projects require.
