First Nation Australians Health, Safety and Environment Traineeship Early Career Pathway Opportunity Programmed Training Services, in conjunction with our host employer Santos, are thrilled to offer a paid Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) early career pathways opportunity to be based on either the Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) or one of the offshore installation vessels for the Barossa Gas Project. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain workplace experience whilst undertaking a traineeship towards Cert IV Work Health & Safety, developing the skills required for an exciting career in the energy industry involving the development of natural gas resources and associated initiatives to reduce carbon emissions. This early career pathway opportunity will provide you with the training, skills, and experience to work within Santos’ HSE team. Your professional development will include assisting with the implementation of Contractor Safety Management processes, as well as contribute to the development and delivery of safety training programs in line with Santos systems. Throughout the traineeship, the successful applicant will gain hands-on experience working within the HSE team, supported by accredited training to achieve a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419). This position would suit an organised and focused individual, who is looking to start a career in the energy industry. This opportunity will be a full-time role initially based offshore, working an even time roster of three (3) weeks on, three (3) weeks off. Your training will include a combination of online, face to face and on the job learning.
