Werribee & Western Automotive Group, has two exciting full time Parts Trainee Opportunities available for the right candidate. Kick start your career by completing a parts traineeship in the automotive industry; it is an excellent opportunity to “get your foot in the door” and to develop yourself into a fully qualified Parts Interpreter. Parts Interpreters are sought after by Automotive Dealerships due to the current skill shortage and experience. During your Traineeship, you will be working in a supportive team environment; where you will be trained, developed, mentored and guided into ultimately becoming a capable Parts Interpreter. Day to day tasks consist of supplying automotive parts and accessories to service and retail customers on a daily basis. You will be responsible for advising, selling, supplying and sourcing of parts and accessories as required. The successful candidate must have: Experience working in retail sales/phone sales or any customer facing experience Ideally you will have a mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to learn more through our trainee program Team focused with strong communication & engaging customers skills A desire/interest to work in the automotive industry A current driver's license Ability work in a fast paced environment Accurate numeracy skill and professional phone manner Ability to work well with others & willingness to learn The position: You will be registered to complete an apprenticeship (Certificate III Parts Sales) The Traineeship will run between one and a half to three years; depending on your theoretical and practical progress Workplace assessments will be done every two months Permanent Position (Monday – Friday) Working hours 8:30am – 5:00pm Working locations include Caroline Springs and Hoppers Crossing We realize the importance of exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction and if you think you are the person that can offer that, we encourage you to apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
