You would be employed by Work & Training – the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship. You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant. The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by registered trainers. At the completion of your traineeship you will receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care – CHC30121. Learning in the job to: Plan and assist with activities to enhance childhood development. Promote healthy habits – including meals, sleeping and play. Develop strong relationships with staff and families. Understand the importance of safety, learning and wellbeing in early childhood.
