Job Description A turf maintenance company, located in Bundaberg, who provide lawn services on variety of commercial properties including council parks, side walks, medium strips and private commercial properties, are currently seeking a motivated trainee to join their team. As a Parks and Gardens trainee you will undertake a variety of duties including lawn maintenance via operational machinery and hand tools (ie. ride on lawn mowers, push mowers and pruning tools), installation of irrigation, weed control, hedging, cultivating turf, applying fertilisers and turf installation. You will also work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Parks and Gardens. Hours are generally 6:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday but may vary depending on jobs. To be considered for this position you must be willing to learn, committed, reliable, punctual and enjoy working outdoors. Applicants with a car and licence preferred unless you have own reliable transport to the workshop within the Bundaberg central area.
