This 36-month fulltime opportunity will see you assisting to create and maintain parks and gardens within the local council area. Develop skills and knowledge in a variety of areas with hands-on experience, and paid study towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate III in Horticulture. Duties Include:Garden and grounds maintenance Mulch, prune, pot, and water plantsUse of garden tools and machineryBrush cutting and mowingPest and weed controlInstall irrigation pipes and watering systems About You:Enjoy working outdoors and with garden toolsStrong work ethic; reliable and punctual Ability to prioritise time and tasks when working under pressureWorks effectively within a team and unsupervisedGreat communication skillsHave a can-do attitude and willing to learn Role Requirements:Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour workSatisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol testPrevious experience in gardening or similar trades (advantageous) How to Apply: Click Apply and complete the online application form and attach a copy of your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the available role.
