This 36-month fulltime traineeship will give you the opportunity to get your hands dirty and work outdoors. You will develop skills and knowledge in a variety of areas with hands-on experience, and paid study towards achieving a nationally recognised Certificate III in Arboriculture. Duties Include:Trim and chip/mulch treesTree removalPest and weed controlUndertake appropriate climbing techniquesUse relevant machinery including chainsaws and woodchippers About You:Enjoy working in the outdoors and working with garden toolsCommitted, reliable and hardworkingManage and prioritise time and tasks effectivelyWork effectively in a team with good communication skillsHave a can-do attitude and display initiative Able to follow directions and work under limited supervision Role Requirements:Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour workSatisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol testPrevious experience in gardening or similar trades (advantageous) How to Apply: Click Apply and complete the online application form and attach a copy of your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the available role.
