As a Sales Development Intern, you will be joining our SDR Academy and learn how to be a top notch SDR and play a key role in supporting Zscaler's Sales and Marketing teams to grow the business. We will provide you with the best support, learning, access to sales expertise and we'll definitely be investing in your personal and professional growth with us You will be working in an environment that is centered around collaboration - we have a great culture where people genuinely enjoy working together, want to help each other out and know how to have a laugh Responsibilities Attending SDR Academy Onboarding Program, where you'll learn SDR 101, Zscaler 101, Cold Calling 101, SDR Tools 101 Prospecting into multiple organizations via cold calling, networking, e-mail, as well as utilizing Internet information sources to build and maintain a lead development pipeline. Penetrate, profile, qualify and schedule well qualified appointments with key decision makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies. Qualifying inbound inquiries by educating and developing prospects leading to appointment. Aim for daily and weekly call goals in order to book meetings for Zscaler's Sales team to engage prospective new customers. Articulate Zscaler's value proposition to decision-makers across multiple industries to assess buying interest. Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Zscaler's technology - and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers to successfully manage and overcome prospect objections. Learn to use tools like Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn, LeadIQ and ZoomInfo. Qualifications Desired Skills & Interest (About You) Highly motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a desire to succeed Team player who possesses an ability to adapt and work in a fast paced, goal-oriented high growth sales environment Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent active listening skills Have high interest in technology and developing a career in sales Education and Experience Approaching final year of bachelor's degree Track record of success in collegiate, athletic, extracurricular, or professional activities This is a part time position, working 2 days per week for approximately 6 months.
