Apprenticeship Administration Officer - Ongoing/Full Time (Two roles) The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) is a statutory authority established under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006. The VRQA is responsible for the registration of education and training providers, accreditation of courses and the regulation of apprenticeships and traineeships in Victoria. This position exists within the VRQAs Apprenticeship Administration Unit and is for an Apprenticeship Administration Officer to work in a busy administration team. The role provides customer service responding to inquiries via email and phone. The role also performs a range of other daily administration tasks to support the effective administration and regulation of apprenticeships and traineeships. This Apprenticeship Administration Officer position exists within the VRQAs Apprenticeship Administration Unit (AAU). The AAU is a team of administration officers who work in the busy area of apprenticeships and traineeships. A focus of the role is to provide customer service by responding to a variety of inquiries received via email and phone inquiries coming through our call centre which operates daily. There are other important daily administration tasks which the role is expected to perform, and these tasks support the effective administration and regulation of apprenticeships and traineeships. The role has a significant variety of tasks to perform so there is variety. This role requires the monitoring and responding to phone calls in a designated phone shift. Responses to calls may require follow up work and referrals. Working in the Epsilon system, the role is required to assess and approve training contracts and action updates in the system. The role also receives requests for historical records and process these requests. The ideal candidate would have experience in an administration role providing high level customer service, experience in completing a range of administrative tasks and someone who can work independently. Experience with Microsoft CRM would be viewed favorably and knowledge of the Apprenticeship and Traineeships system is preferred. The ideal candidate would also have an eye for detail, be a quick learner and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The role also works collaboratively with Apprenticeship Network Providers and Registered Training Organisations. The position reports to the Manager, Apprenticeships.
