MEGT are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Electrical Apprentice looking to develop their skills and experience in this field. About our client: Join a reputable organisation in the service, installation and maintenance of fuel pumps and fuel sites across Australia. Our client specialises in maintenance, electrical installation, building and retail flouts as well as fuel installations. By embarking on this apprenticeship, you will commence your Electrical Apprenticeship in the Bellevue/Midland workshop and attend sites for installations and maintenance where required, while receiving hands-on training from skilled professionals who will guide you through the workings of the trade. Our successful applicant will work alongside trade crews in the electrical installation division. There is also an opportunity to rotate internally where appropriate across the crews to learn and develop your skills. Our successful candidate will have: Pre apprenticeship (Certificate 2 in Electrotechnology) or some basic trade experience Willingness to learn Ability to take direction and follow instructions Have a Drivers Licence (or be close to) White Card Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander person Our successful applicant will be required to undergo a Police check and Pre employment medical check prior to commencing.
