Apprenticeship - Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) Whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification in this area of work, the successful applicant will be working within a specialist environment, learning all aspects of the industry, while being involved in the construction of cabinets for industrial switchboards. Are you: Physically fit? Good at mathematics & English? Passionate about working in the Engineering field? A great communicator and able to work well in a team? Able to demonstrate a solid work ethic and knowledge of safe working practices? The details: Work & Training would employ you for the duration of the four-year apprenticeship. Full time hours – Monday to Friday. Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays for the year. Theory training conducted by TasTAFE in one-week blocks. Mentoring and support provided throughout the traineeship. Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth. The role encompasses learning and being involved in the following tasks: Sheet metal work. Structural steel work. General welding. Workshop cleaning and maintenance; The completion of all theory aspects of the qualification. Desirable: Cert II Engineering or partial completion. Drivers licence. Wage: Apprenticeship Wage applies.
