MEGT have an exciting opportunity for a administration assistant trainee to join Swinburne University of Technology - Croydon Swinburne University of Technology is a world-class university creating social and economic impacts through science, technology and innovation. In this role you will be supporting Student Administration and Library Services unit within their Apprenticeship and Traineeship team by providing support for the onboarding and management of all enrolment related activities for Apprentices and Trainee students. The role is focused on meeting the needs of our students through the provision of excellence in customer service. The position will undertake training in all aspects of the role , including hands-on experience with our various relevant systems (student One, customer 1), as well as software packages used in Swinburne's standard operating environment. This position will rotate between Croydon and Wantirna campuses. Role Duties Overview: Effective communication with Swinburne students, staff and the public face-to-face, via email, MS Teams and over the phone. Provide information and answer queries, referring on to other staff requests for more specific or specialised information. Undertake a range of administrative tasks and assignments using business and communication technologies to provide a client focused service Skills required: Customer service experience Confident communicator - verbal and written Reliable, punctual and a team player Eligibility criteria applies for this program in relation to work rights and prior qualifications.
