Protech are currently seeking Applicants for a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure Traineeship Location: Narribri. ABOUT THE COMPANY Protech are a National Recruitment specialist with a strong emphasis on providing quality personnel to various Civil, Asphalt, Construction, Manufacturing, Mining, and Infrastructure development organisations Australia wide. This position will require you to workday shifts ranging between 8-10hrs across a 9-day fortnight. This position will allow you to start your carer within the industry as you gain experience through undergoing basic operations within the rail infrastructure environment. ABOUT THE ROLE• Narrabri Location • Work full-time hours whilst learning on the job• Opportunity to work away • Complete a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure (1-year duration)• Daily duties will be conducted via a buddy system, where tasks will be completed in conjunction with training modules• Potential for ongoing placement after the completion of training• Duties will include and not limited to using hand tools, shifting materials safely using manual handling methods, apply environmental procedures to rail infrastructure etc. ABOUT YOU• Willing to work long days – Starting at 6-7am and finishing around 3-4pm.• Safety cautious and understand WH&S policies and procedures • Be willing to work away from home• Car Licence and a reliable vehicle• Communicate effectively and ability to work within a team • Construction White Card (Mandatory – will need to obtain before commencing within the position) • Be available for day and night shifts and potential for working away at times• Ability to perform manual work and labour-intensive tasks • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and urine drug screen• Provide 2 recent, contactable work references BENEFITS• PPE and uniform provided • Earn and learn while completing your qualification • Be supported by Protech who will regularly monitor your training progress to ensure you are on track • Get exposure and hands on experience • Full-Time benefits – Annual and sick leave Indigenous canidates are encouraged to apply.
