About AGA: AGA has more than 30 years’ experience in training people and placing them into employment, with a focus on apprenticeships and traineeships. AGA partners with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria. About the role: Looking to start your career in a dynamic field of heavy vehicle mechanic through AGA's apprenticeship program, specifically designed for those passionate about working on buses You'll dive into the enhancing your knowledge in maintaining and repairing buses. Mastering everything from routine maintenance and engine repair to advanced electrical systems and safety compliance. This role is a 4 year apprenticeship , 38 hours a week. As part of your apprenticeship with AGA you will be required to complete training with a registered training organisation (RTO). AGA will arrange all training requirements and work closely with you to ensure you are progressing in line with your training plan. Our organisation is focused on providing support and mentoring to the successful apprentice as well as providing on the job training for 4 years. Work with various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and fiberglass. Learn to use tools and equipment. Perform body panel replacement and alignment. Prepare surfaces for painting and apply finishes. Inspect and assess damage to develop repair plans. Follow safety guidelines and industry standards. Assist experienced technicians and learn on-the-job skills.
