Its story of establishment and success is timeless. Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar met at the University of New South Wales in 1998 and created a company where they did not have to conform. They took a risk and it definitely paid off!

They are best known for their issues tracking application, Jira, and its team collaboration and wiki product, Confluence.
