About the opportunity We are thrilled to be offering a Business Administration Traineeship within our People and Culture section commencing in January 2024. This unique opportunity will enable you to kickstart your career in business administration, human resources and employee development This is a 12-month traineeship that combines on-the-job experience with one day per week attendance at TAFE, where you will complete a Certificate III in Business. As our Business Administration Trainee in People and Culture, you will: Gain experience across the Human Resources (HR) and Culture and Capability functions of our People and Culture section Acquire hands-on experience in HR administration, including record keeping, documentation, and managing calendars and office supplies. Develop proficiency in office management, documentation, data entry and task prioritisation. Support and collaborate with People and Culture professionals in day-to-day operations and special projects. Assist with recruitment and selection processing and providing training and development support. Gain insight into HR practices, employee engagement and workplace culture. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
