The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in upkeeping grounds including outdoor commercial spaces and keen to learn about irrigation systems such as installation, establishment, management, and operation at all skill levels. The successful candidate must be reliable, with the ability to travel to remote locations and show initiative to work independently. The traineeship will involve: Operate and maintain moving irrigation system Install, maintain and repair irrigation drainage systems Repair and restore worksite Interpret irrigation plans and drawings Install irrigation pumps Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 Volt Supply Requirements: Prior exposure to landscaping, plumbing or construction type industries Have good communication skills Be able to work Monday – Friday with some Saturdays including work away from home Live in Brisbane & travel to different work sites Driver’s licence required White Card required Successful applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test, and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing Who are we?
