The Sustainability team at Evolution are responsible for ensuring operations and projects operate at a high standard and achieve sustainable outcomes for our people, planet, process and profit. The team focus on raising the environment and social governance profile of the Company both internally and externally. This is done by supporting sustainable projects within our operations and regions, though data analytics and reporting, transparent communications and identification of risk and opportunities which demonstrate excellence in sustainability.

This position will provide exposure to the Group office and team, with ample opportunities to visit our sites and flexibility on location throughout the program.

Eligible applicants must:

  • Have completed a Sustainability, Earth Sciences, Communications, Governance and Risk, Public Relations or similar degree within the last 3 years,
  • Be able to demonstrate a broad range of knowledge and skills in the area of Sustainability, and
  • Have an Australian / New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.

The graduate program is a key part of our organisational strategy in ensuring we have the right people in the right roles with the right mix of skills and experience to achieve our goals. Supported by a rotation manager, a stream leader, a senior mentor and the Graduate Program team, your structured individual development plan includes real work and projects, a corporate orientation in Sydney and regular development opportunities. Through on-the-job learning, feedback from the people you work with as well as several formal development workshops over the two years (both face-to-face on our sites and through webinars), you will develop the skills you need to be successful.

Our past graduates have gone on to see success in various roles across Evolution, including Operations Business Analyst (reporting directly to the COO), Project Manager, IT Business Analyst, a range of key advisory positions and are forever part of the Evolution Mining Graduate Alumni.
