The opportunity We believe great ideas come from everywhere – and everyone! We employ fantastic people who want to make a difference. From day one you will have purposeful work, be challenged to grow, feel valued and inspired by what we deliver as a team.
You will be exposed to a wide range of challenges and exciting opportunities. During your summer internship you will work on projects and be developed to deepen your technical skills, and build on developing your soft skills and business acumen.
The Summer Internship will be from November 18th 2019 – February 7th 2020
The Intern in our People & Culture team will be taking a lead role in an exciting project looking at our induction process from an employee experience perspective. This will include examining the current process and experience for a range of employees across the country, as well as investigating best practice in the market. They will also be required to suggest, and potentially implement, some initiatives that will be sustainable and value-add to improve the induction process for all Viva employees and drive engagement across the business for new starters. This opportunity will involve high levels of organisation, networking within and outside of Viva, as well as the ability to explore technological solutions with a people-lens. Full support and coaching will be provided throughout the process from within the team throughout the project.
Our culture encourages us to be ourselves. We believe diversity in the workplace is every bit as important as it is in everyday life and we are delighted to have been awarded the WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality for the second year running. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
